- **Event Description**: Join the Fashion Museum Bath team at Bath Central Library for an early look at a prototype online Explore the Collection platform before it launches next year! 

We're at the beginning of journey towards creating a searchable online collections catalogue, and have spent the past nine months working with audience groups to develop this prototype. It marks the first time all objects from the Dress of the Year collection will be searchable online, with images, content and information. 

You'll be able to try out the platform, provide feedback and learn more about the project. We'd love to hear what you think! We'll also be joined by digital textile specialist Gabrielle Shiner-Hill, who will be showcasing her work creating innovative digital assets using some of the objects in the Dress of the Year collection.  

Pop in to the Exhibition Space in Bath Central Library to learn more: 
Friday 12th December: 11-12 & 1-3
Tuesday 16th December: 1-3.30

The project is being supported using public funding by Arts Council England, through its Unlocking Collections programme within National Lottery Project Grants, which aims to enable museums to develop collections-based work and increase public engagement.
