To help you achieve this, we are delighted to offer a First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) approved Paediatric First Aid course, delivered as a blended course. This course will incorporate a single day’s training at Norland, alongside an interactive online e-learning package enabling you to meet the 12 learning hours required to become a fully qualified Paediatric First Aider. The Paediatric First Aider qualification given by Wiltshire First Aid meets the requirements, and is recognised by Ofsted, the Department for Education and the EYFS.The training day at Norland will cover practical learning outcomes such as CPR, scene safety, recording incidents, preventing cross infection, bandaging, slings, choking, recovery positions, shock position, head, neck and spinal injuries, burns and much more.All summative assessments will be conducted face to face with the trainer during the practical training day. You will receive access to the online element of the training once you book your place and it takes approximately 6 hours to complete the online training however, it does not need to be completed in one go, you can take your time as long as it is completed before 9am on your training day. Once you have completed the course, you will receive a FAIB approved qualification in Paediatric First Aid which will be valid for 3 years.The cost of your booking includes refreshments throughout the day and lunch.A minimum of 8 participants are required to run the course, should the course be cancelled due to low numbers all attendees will receive a full refund of the course fees (excluding the Eventbrite service fee). Norland will not be liable for any other associated costs incurred by the Norlander.Due to the online component of the training, the preferred deadline for booking on to this course is Friday 1 May 2026.
