Yoga & Neuroplasticity

Neuroplasticity refers to the brain's ability to form and reorganize neural connections in response to experience. For years, it was thought that the brain slowed or stopped changing as age increases. Recent studies have shown that this is not true. No matter the age, the brain is capable of "rewiring itself" based upon different experiences. Yoga practices fit well into this category of brain changing experiences.


The workshop will include asana, pranayama, the use of a specific mudra and a short meditation as part of the practice.
