This is a hands-on workshop out in the field to discover native grasses and understand the importance of these species in the landscape.
Who is this workshop for?
Open to both beginners and those wanting to hone their skills, this workshop is for anyone wanting to learn how to recognise and identify native grasses in the landscape:
-Land holders
- Friends or Catchment Groups
- New residents to the area
- Those keen to ReWild their garden or property.
Grasses are hugely diverse! At this workshop gain valuable insights on:
- How to recognise the difference between native and introduced species
- The methods for grass identification
- The benefits of incorporating native perennial grasses into your landscape
- How to promote native grasses on your property.
You will also have the opportunity to buy a couple of species for your property to boost biodiversity and habitat!
