Come home to Mother Nature. A great time of the year to go visiting these places around India Nepal border to see the various colours of Rhododendron in full bloom. Add to this the beauty of some of the greatest peaks in the world. Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kangchendzonga, Lhotse, Chomolhari, Pandim, Three Sisiters, Kumbhakarna and a host of other Himalayan peaks in front of you.
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS:
* MUV (Sumo/Bolero) for transfer from NJP to Lepchajagat and then to Maneybhanjan and return from Maneybhanjan to NJP
* Old Landrovers (a few of them are left now from the British times) or Bolero/Sumo (as available) for the entire journey from Maneybhanjan to Phalut and back
* 5 persons per car
* Seats in car will be used by guests on rotation. No particular seat can be reserved or fixed for anyone for the duration of the tour.
* Home stay accommodation in Lepchajagat, Tumling and in Sandakphu
* ALL ROOMS WILL BE ON DOUBLE OCCUPANCY. BASIC ROOMS WITH ATTACHED BATH (WITH WC). THE ROOMS CAN BE SPREAD OUT ON DIFFERENT FLOORS OR BUILDINGS.
* NO GUARANTEE OF VIEW FACING ROOMS IN ANY PLACE. NO TWO ROOMS WILL BE SAME IN HOMESTAY.
* One night stay in Lepchajagt. Running water and geyser available
* One night stay in Tumling. Running water available. Hot water in bucket.
* Two nights stay in Sandakphu. Running water available. Hot water in bucket which is chargeable. Our package will cover the cost of one bucket of hot water per person per day. Any additional bucket needed cost will be to your account.
* Average temperature at highest altitude 3 degrees to 10 degrees. Generally no snow at this time of the year.
TOUR ITINERARY:
April 9 : Pick up from NJP and transfer to Lepchajagat. The drive will take you through the rolling hills and little villages. Overnight stay in Home stay in Lepchajagat
April 10 : After breakfast transfer to Maneybhanjan, a small village just outside Singalila National Park. The real journey starts from here. After formalities you will be seated in our reserved Vehicle for transfer to Tumling (9646 feet). A lovely drive as we rise above the clouds. One night stay here for acllimatisation before you embark on higher altitude. From here you get stunning views of Kangchendzonga in front and the Darjeeling town below.
April 11 : Wake up before the sun rises for magical views of Singalila and Chola ranges of Kangchendzonga from Tumling. After breakfast drive up to Sandakphu (11929 feet) past Gairibas and Kalapokhri. The route leads through bamboo and mixed forests, fields of crop and the little villages along the way. The road is continuously uphill to Sandakphu. At Sandakphu you get to see the greatest mountain ranges of the Himalayas - Mt. Everest, Kangchendzonga, Lhotse and others. Overnight stay at Sunrise Lodge.
April 12 : Wake up before the sun rises for magical views. After breakfast drive to Phalut for a day trip. From Phalut again mesmerising views you will remember for your life. Return to Sandakphu. Overnight stay at Sunrise Lodge.
April 13 : For the last time in this tour wake up again before the sun rises for a lifetime experience. After breakfast come down to Maneybhanjan and then to NJP enroute Mirik and Gopaldhara Tea Estate.

FOOD PLAN:
From breakfast on April 9 to Lunch on April 13, 2025
All food as per our plan and at our designated places.

1) At Lepchajagat Pakhrin Homestay
2) At Tumling Shikhar Lodge
3) At Sandakphu Sunrise Lodge
INCLUSIONS:
1. 3 AC class Train fare (only the basic fare of Rs 945 each way is included. All additionals for online and Agent charges or any increase because of dynamic pricing will be charged in addition)
2. All food as mentioned
3. Accommodation on double sharing
4. Reserved vehicle for tours and transfers
5. All necessary permits and charges
EXCLUSIONS:
1. Coolie, cartage expenses
2. Any food or beverage or mineral water consumed which is outside our package
3. Usage of vehicle besides our designated route and time.
4. Request for special menus or additional items other than what is available in package.
5. Barbecue and Bonfire charges

1 We do not have any control over the quality/maintenance of rooms in Home Stay, although we try our best to give the best possible service in hills
2. Change of plans may happen in case of any political disturbance or natural calamities. No refunds will be given in such cases.
3. We do not have any control over the quality of food and menu served in Home stay. Infact these are standard menus which are served to all guests.

1. 30% of package charges on booking.
2. 20% of package charges before 180 days of departure
3. The balance 50% before 60 days of departure

CANCELLATION POLICY :
1) 50% of package money for cancellations at any time before 180 days of the day of journey
