THIS EDITION: NOLA x PIERA NICOLA NOLA Nola, 24-jährig, ist Produzentin und Multiinstrumentalistin (Klavier, Gitarre, Cello, Schlagzeug…) aus Basel. Sie schreibt und produziert urbane, dynamische Songs, die sich im Bereich French/English Pop, Electropop und PopRap bewegen, auf Französisch und Englisch. Sie erschafft ihre Musik von A bis (fast) Z selbst: von den Lyrics über die selbsteingespielten Instrumente bis hin zur elektronischen Produktion. Bereits bei ihrem 2019 erschienenen Debütalbum Océan des émotions begeisterte Nola ihre Hörer:innen mit ihrer eindrücklichen klaren Stimme und ihren cleveren, ironischen Lyrics. In ihrem zweiten Album Facettes (2021) entwickelte sie ihren unverwechselbaren Stil weiter, indem sie verschiedene Genres kombinierte: Pop, Rap und Ballade. Auf der Bühne bringt sie diese kreative Energie rüber, indem sie ihre elektronischen Sounds mit live gespielten Instrumenten kombiniert, alles solo! Sie konnte ihre Musik bereits am TEDxZurich 2023, am Jugendkulturfestival 2023 sowie international im „The Great Räng Teng Teng“ in Freiburg präsentieren. Zudem war sie als Support Act bei Sherry im Gannet zu sehen. Couleur3, RTR, SRF Virus, Option Musique, Radio Basilisk und Radio X haben ihre Songs vorgestellt. Im April 2025 erschien ihr neues Album „Lost & Found“. Die Plattentaufe feierte NOLA im Parterre One in Basel, wo sie ihre neuen Tracks sowie altbekannte Songs live performte, in einzigartigen, neu interpretierten Versionen.
