Der SLAM Basel ist die grösste Poetry-Slam-Reihe in der Kulturstadt am Rheinknie. Poetinnen und Poeten aus der Schweiz und dem gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum liefern sich von September bis Mai im Sudhaus eine Wortschlacht. Wer den grössten Applaus beim Publikum auslöst, darf nebst Ruhm und Ehre auch einen wunderschönen Pokal mit nach Hause nehmen. Moderiert wird das Wortgefecht von der Basler Slam Poetin und Legende Gina Walter, DJ François Boulanger untermalt den Abend musikalisch.
