Speakers include:Mike Jones (Humberhead Levels Partnership): Water level management for the benefit of lowland peat and nature in the Humberhead Levels. Mike will present a summary of the water level management and peatland restoration projects designed and delivered within protected sites and on farmland in the Humberhead Levels.Andy Sadler (Great Yorkshire Rivers Partnership): An introduction to the Partnership that has ambitions to tackle all the barriers in Yorkshire that are having a significant impact on fish populations by 2043. Hear about the origins of the Partnership, the funding available, our approach and what we hope to achieve in the first 5 years.Scott McKenzie (Trent Rivers Trust): Good connectivity along our watercourses and to the surrounding floodplains is essential for the recovery of many of our protected aquatic species.
