Kick off the New Year by joining our rescheduled Waggy Walk on Sunday 11th January 2026 around beautiful Barry Island. This event has been kindly sponsored by The Regal Mutt meaning that every pound raised will be making even more of a difference.
Registration for the event is £8 per dog including a free doggy bandana, humans go free.
Arrive at 1pm to get signed in and then we'll head out from Whitmore Bay on Barry Island (by the colourful beach huts) at around 2pm, walking a picturesque three mile circular walk. Taking in the breathtaking views from the clifftops as we head out to sandy Jacksons Bay. The walk will continue on solid paths and sand for three miles, finishing up where we started.
We encourage each dog (and their humans) to fundraise for Hope Rescue's work as part of the event. If you raise £50 then you can claim a limited addition Hope Rescue fleece headband.
You'll also be able to buy some of our delicious homemade doggy deli treats, hand made crafts and warm up with a hot drink served from the iconic Barry beachuts.
