- **Event Description**: Join us for a 2k, 5k, or 10k walk/jog/run on Saturday May. 9th, 2026. All distances will begin at the Sherose Island Curling Rink at 9:00am. The 2k walk will be to the stop sign at the end of the Sherose Island road and back to the curling rink. The 5k walk will go to the causeway gazebo. The 10k walk will be to the causeway gazebo and back to the finish line at the curling rink.

There are two ways to participate:
1. Raise pledges (suggested minimum of $50).
2. Pay an entry fee of $30.
All pledges and entry fees are due on May 1st, paid either by etransfer sent to Shelley Deon at shelleyidf@gmail.com, or cash/cheque.

All proceeds go to the Rosalin Nickerson "CARE" Fund (helping local cancer warriors)!

The first 56 participants to register will receive a Rosalin Nickerson "CARE" Fund medal, courtesy of Home Hardware.
