Together, we’ll create beautiful, outdoor-ready, premium Barn Quilt art that you can proudly display on your home or property. Rooted in tradition, barn quilts celebrate craftsmanship and intentional design and not mass production.
We’ll spend the 8 hour day painting, laying tape, and enjoying a relaxed, creative atmosphere filled with laughter and connection. For this workshop, you’ll choose from a 2-foot, 3-foot, or 4-foot board. I handle all of the prep work ahead of time, including cutting the wood, sanding, priming, and drawing on your selected design so you can focus fully on painting during class.
The workshop will be held at the Canadian Club in Barre, Vermont. I’ll provide morning coffee and light snacks. Please plan to bring a non-alcoholic beverage, along with lunch or additional snacks to enjoy throughout the day.
There will also be small games and fun giveaways sprinkled in because creating art should be enjoyable!
For this event, participants will choose from one of 16 curated designs selected specifically to be beginner-friendly and achievable within our full-day timeframe. Custom designs may be available for an additional fee; however, very detailed designs will not be accepted. This is an entry-level workshop, and my goal is to set every participant up for success. All designs, standard or custom, will be drawn on by me prior to class.
