Beginning Rug Braiding with LaunchSpace

Join us for a hands-on Rug Braiding Workshop at the library! Learn the traditional art of braiding fabric strips into beautiful, durable rugs. An instructor from LaunchSpace will guide you through each step of the process.

All skill levels are welcome, and materials will be provided. Come create something cozy and handmade in good company!

Rugs will not be completed during this workshop; rather, you will get started in class and take your project home to finish.

"The LaunchSpace Mobile Makerspace Program provides a fully stocked and staffed traveling makerspace where people of all ages and abilities explore and create art. Our Makerspace travels to libraries, schools, older adult facilities, community centers, and other social service agencies throughout the Western and Central Mass region. Local and nationally recognized working artists with a passion for teaching bring their expertise to each project and introduce participants to a wide variety of art, media and tech through guided projects."
