Synopsis: An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock's Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house's several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined inspector grimly following the case's twists and turns. Fortunately, Miss Marple is on hand to provide the solution – at some risk to herself – in a dramatic final confrontation.

Auditions: Sunday, July 26 from 2-5pm Monday, July 27 from 6:30-9:30pm

At the Barre Players Theater, 64 Common Street, Barre, MA.

Rehearsals will begin on August 17 and happen on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday evenings.

Performances: Fridays & Saturdays, October 16, 17, 23, & 24 at 7:30pm as well as Sundays, October 18 & 25 at 2:00pm.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

All roles are open. We encourage diversity in casting and welcome everyone to audition.

Inspector Craddock (Age: 40-50)
Julia Simmons: Letitia’s niece (Age: mid 30s)
Patrick Simmons: Julia’s brother. (Age: mid 30s)
Dora Bunner (Bunny): Lettie’s school friend and companion. (Age: 50–60)
Mitzi: Miss Blacklock’s cook, Eastern European (Age: 30–40)
Phillipa Haymes: (Age: mid 30s)
Edmund Swettenham: (Age: mid 30s)
Mrs. Swettenham: (Age: 50–60)
Sergeant Mellors: Craddock’s assistant. (Age: 25–30)
Rudi Scherz: young Swiss national.
