The Fujiholics Hartland Quay Landscape Workshop

The Fujiholics Hartland Quay Landscape Workshop

The Fujiholics Hartland Quay Landscape Workshop Friday April 26th to Sunday April 28th.

There are only 8 places available at a cost of £199 per person for two days. This is tuition fee only and does not include the cost of accommodation.

You will have to book your own accommodation and we recommend you do this before you pay for the workshop.

Due to the time of year accommodation in the area is both busy and expensive!

We have found the best option is for us to stay at the Premier Inn, Bideford. This is roughly 25 minutes from our main location of Hartland Quay. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Please make sure you book your Hotel before you pay for the weekend.

It is important to point out that this workshop will involve climbing across rocks which can be slippery, in order to get to the best locations. We will plan routes to keep this to a minimum but if you are unsteady on your feet or struggle with physical activities this workshop may not be suited to you.

If you would like to discuss this prior to booking please contact Matt at bWF0dCAhIHdhbGtsZXkgfCBmdWppaG9saWNzICEgY29t

Fujiholics Landscape Workshops are very relaxed and more like a Landscape Holiday than a workshop. This workshop will be led by Matt Walkley who has featured in Landscape Photographer of the year and is passionate about photography and the importance of printing images. and Matt Hart who has been leading Street and Landscape workshops for the last six years.

There will be some sets of Lee filters to borrow over the weekend but please let us know if you would like to use these with plenty of notice to avoid disappointment.

Matt and Matt both use the Fujifilm Camera System as their main Landscape cameras but you can bring any brand of camera on this workshop.

Matt Hart is passionate about black and white photography and using the five elements to make a great image in any weather.

Full information will be sent out one week before the workshop with meeting location for the Friday night. This will most likely be the bar at the Premier Inn.

The workshop will be based around the area of Hartland Quay and its rugged landscape. It’s interesting geological features, rough seas and even a waterfall onto the beach provide huge opportunity for creating some fantastic images using a variety of techniques.

We will spend the Saturday and Sunday exploring the coastline and Saturday night will be a meal back at the Premier Inns on site restaurant and the normal Fujiholics evening drinks and great company. You can bring your lap tops or iPads to the meal if you wish to review your work with Matt and Matt.
