Supporting a Young Person with Challenging or Aggressive Behaviour
A two day parent workshop aimed at any parent supporting a young person who is at risk or displaying socially isolating, challenging or aggressive behaviours.
The techniques covered in this course can be applied to both younger children and teenagers. Time will be spent allowing parents to adapt the principlas to their particular childs needs. A diagnosis is not required to attend this course as the techniques are designed to be supportive for all and a wide range is covered to allow parents to hand pick those that are most apporpriate.
* Share expereinces, ideas and feelings with other parents.
* Explore what might be behind your childs behaviours.
* Practice and perfect techniques and strategies to both reduce the behaviour and to de-escalate more effectively.
