We are inviting current and future host families to a friendly Open Afternoon where you can find out what it’s really like to host international students and teachers from Central and South-East Europe.

This informal get-together is a chance to:

- meet our wonderful SOL host families

- hear first-hand stories about hosting

- learn how hosting works

- find out about payments and practical arrangements

- ask questions in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere

For almost 35 years, SOL has brought students and teachers to North Devon for short cultural and language programmes. Host families are a key part of this experience - offering a warm welcome, real British home life, and in return receiving a weekly payment for each student or teacher they host.

Whether you’re curious about hosting, already involved, or simply want to learn more, you are very welcome to join us.
