North Devon Sinfonia - Classic Music Festival

The Inaugural North Devon Sinfonia Music Festival is an exciting new venture to bring Classical Music to new audiences and to inspire the next generation of young players!

The full programme of events is as follows:

Friday 15th March-4.00 pm

Youth Orchestra Day
The Festival Youth Orchestra will be performing their chosen pieces that will have been worked on throughout the day, under world-renowned conductor Maxim Tortelier.

Saturday 16th – 7.30 pm

The North Devon Sinfonia will then be joined by The Fidelio Trio to perform Beethoven’s Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano, conducted by Maxim Tortelier.

Sunday 17th March 7.30.

The festival will conclude on the Sunday with a performance of the following:

Force of Destiny Overture – Verdi

Symphony No. 5 – Mahler.
