Providing such opportunities can help elders feel more postive by reducing feelings of loneliness and promote their self-esteem. Intergenerational activities can also assist children to develop social skills, build confidence and develop their knowledge of the world. Little ones love to receive positive attention to their actions and achievements and the older generation are often happy to to offer it, bringing joy to both!
