The Procession Route:
The procession will begin at Wilder Road Carpark at 11:00 AM.
The vibrant parade will proceed along the High Street, bringing the leafy spectacle to the heart of the town.
The procession will then continue down Fore Street, where the energy and excitement will build.
A short, lively break is planned outside The Ship & Pilot, where you can enjoy various traditional dancing performances by Jack's enthusiastic followers.
Following the break, the procession will continue its journey via the Clapping Circle to the Maypole, located next to Wildersmouth Beach, the destination for the final celebrations.
The Maypole Celebration:
Upon arrival at the Maypole, situated in the scenic location next to Wildersmouth Beach, the air will be filled with music and anticipation.
The followers of Jack will perform traditional dancing around the Maypole, a joyful expression of community and the turning of the seasons.
In a symbolic and eagerly awaited moment, Jack's greenery will be stripped away, releasing the spirit of summer to bless the land and usher in the warmer months.
