Skills sharing:
Our skilled repairers are on hand to share their skills with you to take home - you can learn basic sewing, knitwear patching, visible mending and how to service your bike!

Repairs:
? Textiles, e.g. replace zips and buttons (bring your own zips and buttons), simple alterations, visible darning
? Knitting and crochet, wool garments, blankets, toys etc
⚙️Sewing machine repairs e.g. tension adjustment and other small mechanicals
? Basic bike repairs
?️ Small household and electrical items 
?Computer repairs
?PAT Testing

We rely on volunteers so can't always guarantee that all these skills will be available at every event - If you have any questions, email ilfracomberepaircafe@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the event to give them time to respond.

?Please note:
This is not a professional repair service, so please don’t bring ‘fancy’ repairs like wedding dresses - send us message if you’re not sure.
☕Hand:plant will be open serving cake and hot drinks, should you wish to purchase, but there is no pressure or expectation to buy.
? Donations are welcome but not expected.
? We'd love it if you could stay whilst they repair your items, Repair Cafes are about building community connection and sharing skills too.
