Mid-Cape Comic Con at Hyannis Arts Hall

Atomic Dimestore and Hyannis Arts Hall will present Mid-Cape Comic Con, the first of its kind on Cape Cod, on Saturday February, 28, from 10 am - 3 pm.

The event has been organized by Rick Paige, owner of Atomic Dimestore, the vintage comics, toys, and ephemera business he has operated on Cape Cod for more than a decade. Paige has collected, bought, and sold comics, horror magazines, and vintage action figures since the 1970s. He’s a well-known participant in comic cons around the northeast U.S.

More than two dozen comic and collectibles dealers from around New England are expected to exhibit at Mid-Cape Comic Con. Sellers will offer comics from the Golden Age of Comics to the present, along with vintage Star Wars and GI Joe action figures, horror magazines, non-sports cards, ephemera, Pokémon collectibles, and more. Some vendors in attendance will also help with grading and answer questions about related collectibles. Special guests are also in the works. An admission fee of $5 will be charged at the door.

The non-profit Hyannis Arts Hall is part of Hyannis Arts & Film, Inc. The hall can be found at 81 Willow Avenue, opposite the entrance to the Hyannis Transportation Center, a block off Centre Street near Main Street. Hyannis Arts Hall sits across from Centerville Cleaners and the old Plymouth Brockton bus terminal.

The best and easiest-to-read map of for driving or walking to Hyannis Arts can be found on Google. North Street and Ocean Street and North Street parking lots are a block or so walk away. Walkers can also find Hyannis Arts Hall through the gated walkway on Main Street at the east end of the Federated Church of Hyannis.
