OUR NEW FUNDRAISING EVENT IS OPEN

From 12.30pm noon Saturday 7th Feb to 8.30am Sunday 8th Feb 2026 at Noah's Ark Pet Rescue Barnsley we'll be looking for up to 12 teams of 4 incredibly brave people to raise awareness of what the estimated 250,000 cats in the UK will be going through this winter. Individuals can take part too!
Braving freezing temperatures, lack of fresh food, fighting for survival, living with infected battle wounds, repeatedly pregnant, starving, battling disease with no medical help, anaemic from flea bites, sick with worms.
Why do you need to be brave? This fundraising event is not for the faint hearted. It will be cold. You will be sleeping outdoors, there will be cover but you will need thermals, sleeping bags and mittens.
Throughout the event there will activities and opportunities to win hot drinks, food, snacks, and access to a heated area at our Scratching Post. I have to admit I've had too much fun thinking up these activities.
Friends and Family can follow your experience and send donations throughout the event to help you buy credits, so your fellow feral and abandoned cat team mates can visit our Catnip Cabinet.
The registration fee is £25 per person and your individual fundraising target is £250.
Each person taking part will enable us to take 1 cat off the streets, neuter, vaccinate, microchip and treat for fleas and worms, and keep them warm in a heated cabin with lots of fresh food and treats until a home is found.
The donations on the night will then go towards the additional vet treatments they need, dentals, meds, tests etc.
