However, throughout the day, on Saturday 30th May, we are holding our FREE family day. Come along and experience traditional music, dance, storytelling and traditional crafts..

FREE CRAFT WORKSHOPS & STORYTELLING
Ian Douglas Storyteller's Magic Lantern, Timmy Sweetcorn's Craft Club and Willow Weaving with The Art Room.
LIVE MUSIC
We'll have live music from The Rhythm Chaps ceilidh and barn dance band, folk duo Barnsdale Hood and songwriter Katrina Tia Charles.
TRADITIONAL DANCE
Throughout the day, there'll be folk dance performances from a number of local sides, including Barnsley Longsword, Silkstone Greens North West Morris, Wath Morris and Wath Morris Minors, and from Horizon Community College, we'll have Horizon Dance showcasing their morris and rapper skills. 

This event is free entry. Mandela Gardens will have a licensed bar, so usual ID rules apply.
