- **Event Description**: Join the Village of Barnesville as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with our patriotic Freedom Parade on Sunday, July 5, 2026!

The parade will begin at 2:00 P.M., with lineup starting at 1:30 P.M. at the Barnesville Depot.

The parade route will leave the Depot, turn left onto North Arch Street, then right onto East Main Street and travel through downtown Barnesville. The route will continue by turning right onto North Broadway Street, then right onto West Church Street, ending back at the Depot.

Everyone is welcome to participate — no entry form is required! Community members are encouraged to decorate bikes, scooters, wagons, golf carts, and other parade entries in red, white, and blue while showcasing their American pride with flags and patriotic displays.

Kids participation is strongly encouraged! For safety, all riders on bikes and scooters must wear helmets.

Following the parade, refreshments will be provided at the Depot, sponsored by Main Street Barnesville.

There will also be prize money awarded for Best Decorated entries in the Ages 12 & Under category, with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place. Prize money is sponsored by Main Street Barnesville.
