Especially because it's on the eve of David and Val's wedding happening here at the Hawk the next day! Three acts rooted in tradition and storytelling will carry us through the evening -- from old-time and Americana to rich harmonies and front-porch soul -- all held in the barn and newly upgraded natural amphitheater of Hawk & Hawthorne. Come early, settle in, wander the gardens, and let the music guide the night. ==> The Artists Pretty Little Goat An Asheville-based string band weaving together Appalachian roots, old-time tradition, and a playful, high-spirited energy. Their sound feels both timeless and alive — music that invites dancing as much as deep listening. Life Like Water A quartet blending folk, Americana, and soulful harmonies. Their songs move with a kind of ease and emotional depth that feels right at home under an open sky. Nicholas Edward Williams A songwriter’s songwriter — intimate, grounded, and quietly powerful.
