- **Event Description**: Gather with us on the land at Hawk & Hawthorne as we settle into the heart of summer -- two days and nights of music, community, and connection beneath sunset skies and fireflies in the mountains just outside Asheville, NC.


We’ll gather on Ritual Hill for a weekend of rhythm, movement, and shared experience -- rooted in the land and alive with possibility.


DIRTWIRE debuts at Hawk & Hawthorne for a full weekend campout with a unique set each night.  They'll be joined by LEAH SONG, EARTHCRY and a growing circle of artists, facilitators, and friends. David Satori will be performing a late-night solo DJ set Saturday night.


These gatherings are intentionally intimate and capacity is limited. If you feel the call to join us for this weekend on the land, we encourage claiming tickets early and staying for the full campout experience.

Camping is included Friday and Saturday night with the Full Weekend Pass so you can fully drop into the experience. 


⛺ Camping

Camping at Hawk & Hawthorne is primarily tent-based.

Guests may sleep in their vehicle if they choose, but vehicles must remain in designated parking areas. Vehicles are not permitted at campsites, and tents cannot be set up in the parking field because parking space is limited.

You’ll be able to pull near the barn briefly to unload your gear before parking. From there, it’s a short walk to the campsites, so wagons or carts are encouraged.

Please note:

• No vehicles at campsites
• No tents in the parking field
• No RV hookups
• Limited Oversized Vehicle Passes available
• No late-night fires, music, or hangouts in parking areas

? Parking Passes

Parking is our primary limiting factor.

Our lot accommodates a limited number of vehicles, so parking passes help us manage flow without increasing ticket prices.

• $15 per vehicle
• Carpooling encouraged
• Oversized Vehicle Passes available in very limited quantities

Arrive with 4 or more people in your vehicle and we’ll refund your parking pass at the door as a thank-you for carpooling.

Oversized Vehicle Passes are for RVs, camper vans, Sprinters, buses, trailers, and other large vehicles. These passes are limited, and there are no hookups available.


?️ Meals

Dinner, breakfast, and lunch will be available for purchase on site, featuring seasonal, farm-forward offerings.

Habibi Village will be on site offering freshly made Lebanese flatbreads prepared on a traditional saj oven.

Their menu includes gluten-free options topped with zaatar, Asheville cheeses, organic greens, and Kalamata olives, with vegan and vegetarian options available.

We are bridging commerce & community to nurture and enrich an emergent regenerative culture.

Hawk & Hawthorne is a practicing permaculture community and regenerative event venue nestled just north of Asheville, NC.

Set in a retrofitted heritage tobacco barn amidst an expansive valley of fruit trees, gardens, spring-fed ponds, and sweeping mountain views, The Hawk has been an organic gathering point for over 30 years.


--> We are a non-alcoholic venue. Herbal elixirs & snacks available at the bar. (Cash preferred; Venmo/cards OK.)


--> Children

Kids 12 & under do not need a ticket but must be supervised at all times.

The event is generally kid-friendly during the day. Late-night fire and dance spaces are more adult-oriented.

We value keeping our gatherings accessible to people who bring value in ways beyond money.

If finances are what’s preventing you from attending, please email hawkandhawthorne@gmail.com
 at least 5 days before the event and share what you’re able to offer, either financially or through work-trade.

We are a community-powered venue and have volunteer opportunities available for each gathering if you’re open to contributing.

We also offer a limited number of discounted spots for economically disadvantaged community members.

There is an optional Crew Gratitude contribution on the ticket page. A $5 contribution is automatically added but can be adjusted or removed.

All contributions are shared among the crew who help bring these gatherings to life.

We believe in transparency around where your ticket money goes.

Example breakdown of a $59 ticket:

$28 to artists & travel
 $13 to production (sound, stage, lighting, decor)
 $7 to community crew
 $5 to marketing
 $2 to hard costs (firewood, supplies, cleaning)
 $4 to ticketing fees

Food, bar & parking revenue helps sustain the event and ongoing stewardship of the land.
