- **Event Description**: For our June Open Day we'll be joined by steam loco "Soony" visiting from the Perrygrove Railway in Gloucestershire! Soony is currently on a UK tour of 15-inch railways, so this is the only chance to see it at Thorpe!
A perfect treat for someone special on Fathers' Day, or just a nice day out in a beautiful part of Teesdale.
Entry fee is £4 per person, cash only please (under 5s and members free) which includes as many train rides as you like.
Michael from the award-winning Millie Moos Roasts will be with us to sell a range of tasty snacks and drinks.
Plenty of free parking in the field. Cyclists and walkers welcome.
Don't forget - Whorlton Bridge is closed to all traffic, including pedestrian, so access is from south of the river only.
