John Abraham – Pop Art Exhibition

John’s second exhibition at The Witham is one of Pop images from the 50s to the 70s, full of amazing colour, vitality and graphic wonder.

For John, Marvel and DC Universe artwork holds a wonder which has not diminished and he returns to when painting this subject. This exhibition is from a collection from the era mentioned. The artwork you see is by him, but not original in content. There will always be changes to the subject, but he will always try to be true to the image that first attracted his attention. This is his tribute to the older generation of artists who set him on his artistic road, still being travelled.
