Join art therapist Lisa Clay for a unique workshop celebrating the beauty and meaning of flowers through the art of pressed flower collage. Participants will cover a 6-inch square art board with painted paper and create a beautiful composition using dried, pressed flowers. Each flower can represent a special memory, experience, or person, with written reflections incorporated into the artwork to create a meaningful keepsake.

As part of the experience, participants will enjoy blooming tea—a delightful floral beverage in which hand-tied tea blossoms unfurl into beautiful flowers as hot water is poured over them.

The workshop will also include instruction on:
•	Starting flowers from seed
•	Selecting the best flowers for drying and pressing
•	Proper techniques for using a flower press
•	Preserving flowers to create lasting works of art

Lisa's artwork is currently on exhibit at the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, Arts on Main, and The Bricks at Brunswick Place.
