The debut, Her Lost Language, was joint winner of the Geoff Stevens Memorial Prize; her second collection, Map of a Plantation, won the Poetry Awards and is on the syllabus at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her most recent collection, Resurrection of a Black Man, contains three prize-winning poems, and was featured on the US blog Poetry Unbound.
