Origini: Nati da una fusione tra alcuni membri dei Trees (band darkwave napoletana storica) e The End of Tapes, i Silentways si sono formati per creare sonorità malinconiche e sognanti.
Esordio: Nel 2016, hanno pubblicato il loro primo album, "Silentways", per l'etichetta svizzera Swiss Dark Nights, esplorando atmosfere che spaziano dal dream pop al darkwave, con tocchi di shoegaze e gothic rock.
Riformazione e "Aeon": Dopo un breve scioglimento, la band si è riformata come trio, pubblicando nel 2024 il secondo album "Aeon", sempre con Swiss Dark Nights, che approfondisce un'atmosfera più fredda e dominata da drum machine, voci eteree e chitarre gothic.
Sound: Il loro sound è definito da paesaggi sonori delicati e struggenti, con tastiere sognanti, linee di basso cupe e una voce eterea. 

The Coventry is a Post Punk / Darkwave band from Italy, founded in the spring 2017.
The name Coventry comes from the HMS Coventry, a destroyer ship of the Royal Navy that fought the Falklands war.
