The Mater Chicks in Pink annual 5K Your Way is officially open for registrations! ????‍♀️?‍♂️

I’ve put the call out to get 2000 people involved in this year’s International Women’s Day fun run event, which will be held on 8 March along the Bargara Esplanade ?️ 

Walking, running, riding or shuffling are all welcome, so get some friends together, raise some much-needed funds for breast cancer research, and be part of the sea of pink with me this IWD ???

Event information:
- Meet time: 7.30 am
- Start time: 8.00 am
- Meeting place: the basin at Christsen Park
- Course: fun runners will move ‘their way’ from our starting point along the esplanade, up to Nielsens, and then return (approx. 5 km)

There is no pressure to run, the event is inclusive (running of course, but also walking, dog walking, wheelie walkers, wheelchairs), no matter how a person likes to move everyone is welcome!

It would be great if participants can wear something pink to honour people on their journey – we are hoping for a sea of pink on the day.
