Young Chefs: Pizza and Pretzels

Calling all aspiring chefs! Currituck County 4-H is hosting a fun and delicious youth cooking program, where participants will learn to make their own homemade pizza and pretzels from scratch. This program will take place on August 7th from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Kids, ages 8-14, will get hands-on experience mixing, kneading, and shaping dough while discovering the science behind baking. From cheesy pizzas to warm, soft pretzels, this program is the perfect blend of creativity and culinary fun!

There is a registration fee of $10.00. Payment can be made with a credit card via Eventbrite, or cash/check payable to NCSU. Checks and cash can be delivered to the Currituck Extension Office at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917 within 5 days of registration.

All participants must also be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2025 program year; the link to that portion of the registration process is https://v2.4honline.com/
