Kayaking Merchants Millpond State Park

Come join us as we explore the Merchants Millpond State Park. We will gather at Cooperative Extension - Currituck Center and depart at 9 am for Gates County where we will launch the kayaks at the park's boat ramp. We will explore the waters and the wildlife in the area. We will also do a little hiking on the trails in the park. Pack a lunch and bring a change of clothes. We will return by 4:30 pm. This program is for ages 8 to 14.

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
