Participants will visit a local potato farm to observe the harvesting process, watching as potatoes are dug from the field and transported to the grader where they are sorted by size and prepared for grocery stores. After the tour, youth will return to the Extension office to take part in a fun cooking activity, using potatoes to create a delicious dish they can enjoy together. This program helps youth understand where their food comes from while building skills in agriculture, nutrition, and basic cooking.All participants must also be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2026 program yea.
