Participants will learn how a butterfly transforms through stages of egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and adult, and how a chicken grows from an egg into a chick and then an adult hen or rooster. Through hands-on activities, observation, and discussion, students will discover how animals grow, and change. This program encourages curiosity about nature while helping youth understand the similarities and differences between insect and bird life cycles.Please note that there are two age groups for each workshop (5-7 and 8-12)-make sure to select the correct section when completing the registration form. All programs will be held at the NC Cooperative Extension office located at 120 Community Way, Barco NC starting at 5:30 pm and ending at 7:30 pm.
