Barcelona’s theatres have blossomed greatly in recent years, where world-famous plays and musicals are performed. The Sala Beckett is a small theatre, providing a platform for young writers and artists and promotes contemporary drama in Barcelona. It promotes experimental theatre.
Teatre Grec is an open-air theatre whose aim is to endorse new stage productions by local and international artists and is considered one of the most prestigious theatres in Catalonia. At Mercat De Les Flors, you can watch experimental and contemporary dance productions by Catalan and international companies.
