The report examines the experiences of women across the built environment workforce and sets out a series of recommendations to create a more equitable profession.Twenty years after RIBA’s previous commissioned report, Why Do Women Leave Architecture? (2003), Build It Together (2025) assesses the progress made and explores whether the challenges identified then persist today.In both the UK and globally, gender inequity remains a deeply rooted structural issue, directly affecting career progression and opportunities for women in architecture.Valerie Vaughan-Dick, Chief Executive of RIBA, will present the report’s key findings and provide a progress update.
