Discover soils’ richness by exploring how they function.2. Identify the most common farming practices, the context in which they were developed and their impact over time on soils and the environment.3. Reflect on existing alternative practices and the obstacles to their adoption from a farmer's point of view. Look at what actions need to be taken by farmers, politicians, companies and consumers to make change possible.The methodology of the LSW, https://www.ateliersolsvivants.org/en/ is based on the climate fresk https://climatefresk.org/world/ which has already reached 1.7 million participants worldwide.It doesn’t involve an expert presenting information to the group; instead, by activating the group's collective intelligence it requires all participants to take an active role in the building-up of the “fresk” using the 30 cards provided.Both those who know a lot about soil and agriculture and those who nothing will find that they learn a surprising amount.And if you're inspired to take the journey onwards you can find out how to become a LSW facilitator yourself.The event is free but you need to book your place.
