Their studio albums and live shows are all equally heavily rooted in improvisation and momentary self expression, each performance is absolutely unique and daring. The debut album "Jazzbois Goes Blunt" had a strong impact on both the jazz and hip-hop scene and had countless air plays on stations like Soulection Radio, KCRW, BBC 2, BBC 6, Worldwide FM… Their latest album 'Still Blunted' came after performing at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival last summer. The trio then sold out venues around Europe (including the Jazz Cafe London) on their last headline tour in the autumn of 2024. “Jazzbois are doing pretty well, aren’t they”Gilles Peterson (BBC 6 - Feb 2025)“The music is great” Jaime Cullum (BBC Radio 2)"As fans, we’ll continue to marvel at the free-flowing conversation and analysis that sees us dissect projects that fuse contemporary jazz with hip-hop, but it’s no doubt a language in of itself that Jazzbois have become very fluent in and will no doubt serve as continual pioneers as the sound finds new ways to evolve in the years to come."UK Vibe 4/5 "Avowed stewards of the groove, Jazzbois follow Dip Dive and Nstrmntlzm with Higher Dimension Waiting Room featuring DomBeats and Mukunda Papp."Okay Player “Every corner in the trip of Higher Dimension Waiting Room conveys spot on arrangements, groove and unpredictability with every instrument sounding clear.” O sótão“With a sci-fi edge, chilled out but with enough groove to keep you dancing” Songlines Magazine ★★★★“It’s clear why they’re in such high demand on the live circuit. With their fluid interplay on full display, the trio’s chemistry is undeniable. Enjoy it, adore it, and spread the love with your friends!” Twisted SoulLate-night jams in their new studio see Jazzbois return to their beat-tape roots on Still Blunted Having established themselves as one of the leading live bands in Europe, grooving to improvised jazz motifs and hip-hop beats, Budapest trio Jazzbois return with their fourth LP, Still Blunted, which sees them touch base with their beat-tape roots. Now situated in the heart of Buda at their new studio above a club, the Hungarian trio of Bencze Molnár (Rhodes/synth), Viktor Sági (bass) and Tamás Czirják (drums) take a more considered approach to Still Blunted and offer a snapshot into the jams, sessions, and shows they have played over the past year. The new album was released after the band performed at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival this summer, but before they sold out The Jazz Cafe, London, and three more venues (Paris, Antwerp, Utrecht) on their album release tour in October 2024.From local beginnings, their music was picked up on multiple editorial playlists on Spotify & Apple Music, resulting in millions of streams. But it’s offline, live on stage, where the project comes alive. As all their songs are recorded in the moment and edited in post-production, they have to be learnt again. Live, they never play anything the same way twice, often dropping in motifs and riffs from some jazz classics. For their bigger shows, DomBeats joins them on sax & flute, adding yet more energy and power to their performances.  With more releases in the pipeline and with live dates piling up, Jazzbois are clearly in the ascendance. Just three musicians, three instruments, and possessing some serious musical clout, a sure-winner for jazz-heads, new and old. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/barcelona/jazzbois-live-in-barcelona/100001415279040709 - **Event Categories**: entertainment, music, festivals, dance, performances, jazz, sports, live-music - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 21.3, max: 24.63, currency: EUR ## Event venue details - **city**: Barcelona - **state**: CT - **country**: Spain - **location**: La Deskomunal SCCL - **lat**: 41.3758457 - **long**: 2.1323293 - **full address**: La Deskomunal SCCL, Escuder 38, Barcelona, Spain ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Jazzbois Live In Barcelona - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/d1352f0b4a2fc148047392439463c9c760f674549f8583bf1207b0648563f6c1-rimg-w1200-h675-dc2a65d3-gmir.jpg?v=1750421164 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Jazzbois Live In Barcelona being held? - **A:** Jazzbois Live In Barcelona takes place on Sun, 23 Nov, 2025 at 07:30 pm to Sun, 23 Nov, 2025 at 11:00 pm at La Deskomunal SCCL, Escuder 38, Barcelona, Spain. - **Q**: Who is organizing Jazzbois Live In Barcelona? - **A:** Jazzbois Live In Barcelona is organized by gravy. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
