History of Tattoo (talk)
For many thousands of years, the art of tattooing has been practiced around the world. Tattooing is used to represent culture, to convey messages, to mark the desired and undesired, and to adorn bodies with beautiful images.

Styles in Tattoo (workshop)
In this class students play with different techniques and styles which are used within the world of tattoo art. We experiment with different tools and work both on paper and bodies (removable ink).

Tattoo in Art (talk)
There are many examples of how tattooing has been used in contemporary art. In this talk we look into how this technique is used in art today and how many artists use it to make polemic statements in their discourse.
17th of April, 11’30-16’30:
Body Art (Workshop)
Body Art and tattoo are closely related. This workshop offers an insight into practices like performance, events and other practices between the 1970 and today. Students play with different techniques and styles.

This two-day workshop has a 40€ fee for non-Metàfora students, reimbursable if the students signs up for a Metàfora course within the following 12 months.
