About the Show:
Set in a near-future world facing the disappearance of bees, The Apiary follows a group of workers in an underground laboratory searching for a way to rebuild a collapsing bee population. As their experiments become increasingly unconventional, the play explores the complicated relationship between scientific progress, human connection, sacrifice, and our desire to repair the natural world. Blending dark comedy, movement, and some unexpected surprises, The Apiary offers audiences a funny and thought-provoking look at what people are willing to do when the survival of something they love is at stake.
