The 2026 Baraboo String Gathering

The String Gathering is a weekend of music sessions, jams, and music sharing for acoustic instruments and song. We play many styles of folk and roots music including bluegrass, old time, Irish, Cajun, Scandinavian, French Canadian, and others. This is a great event for instrumentalists and vocalists interested in all types of folk and traditional music. All experience levels welcome. The String Gathering is a great place to learn about conventions of playing music with others and learning lots of new tunes and songs.
