The trio will spend two days in residency on MDI. In addition to presenting daytime concerts at local schools, there will be two public events you won't want to miss:

⭐️ THURSDAY NIGHT: Community Tune Workshop & Open Jam
January 15th, 6:00pm
Jesup Memorial Library, Bar Harbor, ME
($10-$20 suggested donation to benefit the Bar Harbor food pantry)
All instruments and experience levels welcome

⭐️ FRIDAY NIGHT: Concert & Bal Folk Dance
January 16th at 7:00pm (doors 6:30pm)
Gates Auditorium, College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, ME
(free for COA community; admission by $15-25 donation to Bar Harbor Food Pantry)
Open band, all instruments welcome

❄️ Winterlude? What’s That? ❄️

It may be cold outside, but the Acadia Festival of Traditional Music & Dance's second annual Winterlude is our way of giving back to the local community that has given our flagship June festival such a warm welcome. In addition to fulfilling our 501(c)(3) nonprofit mission by bringing traditional music into local schools, all door proceeds from both evening events will go to the Bar Harbor Food Pantry.

There’s no advance registration or RSVP required to attend either evening event. ? About Eloise & Co. featuring Rachel Aucoin ?

Vermont-based Eloise & Co. features the combined creative force of two of the country’s most sought-after traditional musicians, fiddler Becky Tracy and accordionist Rachel Bell. Originally thrown together at a gig where Becky led the contra dance portion of the evening and Rachel led the French dance part of the evening, they have continued to fuse these two elements into their concerts and dances, as well as adding songs and original compositions to the mix.

Becky and Rachel found themselves in a spontaneous jam session with Québécois pianist extraordinaire Rachel Aucoin at a music camp in 2017. Her work with dance bands like Domino and Raz-de-marée over the years has cemented her position in the pantheon of legendary backup players. Based in Beaumont, Quebec, she tours widely with a dazzling array of musicians.

Becky, Rachel, and Rachel are excited to invite you into their shared musical delight with a variety of music ranging from old traditional tunes to their own new compositions, all infused with the magnetism that drew them together in the first place. The trio recently recorded their new album, “Avec Elodie,” which was released in October 2025 and is available on Bandcamp.
