The legendary pirate Anne Bonny has washed ashore in 2025, and let’s just say… she’s not impressed by smartphones, small talk, or soy lattes.

Join Captain Wagtail as this time-travelling tale unleashes chaos, comedy and conversations across the centuries, between a rum-loving rebel of the high seas and a very modern academic who would really prefer to keep things civil. Spoiler: she fails.

With Éidín Griffin playing the academic (also our brilliant writer) and Katy Mullins as our unforgettable pirate queen, and direction by the ever-imaginative Yvonne Coughlan, this show is a riotous ride not to be missed.

� After standing ovations at the 2023 Kinsale Arts Weekend, and rave reviews of its voyage to the Whale Theatre, Greystones, and the Aran Islands, Captain Wagtail is ready to cause a stir in West Cork!
