Beech Mountain, NC – On Friday, March 6, 2026, Beech Mountain Resort will host its third annual Not So Gala, Gala — an evening of live music, celebration, and fundraising in support of the Colon Cancer Coalition.
Tickets are $100, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres from Reid’s Catering and two drink vouchers for beer or wine. All proceeds directly benefit the Colon Cancer Coalition, helping fund vital screenings, education, and support for families affected by colon cancer.
The event will take place at the Beech Mountain Brewing Co. Taproom and Grill in the Village at Beech Mountain Resort, featuring performances from The SteelDrivers and The Jenkins Twins.
The SteelDrivers, the Grammy Award-winning bluegrass band from Nashville, TN, will headline this year’s event. Known for their soulful vocals, masterful musicianship, and high-energy live shows, The SteelDrivers have earned a devoted following across bluegrass, Americana, and country audiences alike. Their blend of rootsy storytelling and electrifying performances promises an unforgettable evening in the High Country.
Opening the night are The Jenkins Twins, a dynamic Americana duo whose harmonies and heartfelt songwriting have made them rising stars on the Southern music scene. With a sound that’s both modern and timeless, The Jenkins Twins are the perfect complement to the evening’s lineup.
The Not So Gala, Gala offers an intimate and laid-back concert experience, allowing guests to enjoy incredible live music in a relaxed setting without the formality of a traditional gala. Attendees are encouraged to dress casually, celebrate community, and enjoy an evening of fun while supporting a meaningful cause.
In addition to the music, the evening will feature a live auction led by local auctioneer Jesse Miller, offering a variety of unique items and experiences.
The evening will also include the presentation of the KG Ripple Effect Award, honoring Kelly-Grier Costin, a beloved member of the Beech Mountain Resort family who passed away in 2021 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. The award recognizes individuals who embody strength, courage, and dedication to the colon cancer community—whether as survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, or volunteers.
This year, the Not So Gala, Gala aims to raise $100,000 for the Colon Cancer Coalition, continuing its mission to support those impacted by colon cancer and advance early detection and awareness.
Buy your tickets today and join us on March 6 for an evening of outstanding music, community spirit, and meaningful fundraising as we come together to support the fight against colon cancer.
