I'm delighted to be welcoming a group of photographers back to Gabriel's Garden in Gissing, near Diss, this time for a glorious summer evening in the garden.
Gabi is the proud owner of this beautiful seasonal one-acre garden and she works to create a tranquil place, home to a variety of birds, bees and insects. Sustainability and mindfulness are central to the ethos of Gabriel’s Garden.
The evening will provide us with a whole range of photo opportunities - beautiful light, wonderful colours, textures and patterns, macro photography, as well as the chance to immerse yourself in the stillness and calm of nature and birdsong for a few hours.
This is an evening to be creative and inspired by new surroundings and fellow photographers, and a chance to spend some quality time with your camera with no distractions. I will guide the group, offering individual guidance throughout our time there.
A few days later, we'll meet up online and share our favourite shots, giving you time to sort through and edit any photographs as you wish.
This event is for photographers of all abilities - all you need is a camera (of any sort - even smartphones). It is simply about getting the best from the equipment you have.
