- **Event Description**: Summer solstice a time of such fullness and light that it can sometimes feel overwhelming. This evening is an invitation to allow the resources available to us through our energetic connection to the Earth and to the Universe - through our chakra system - to nourish the expressions of life that are finding their fullness at this time.

Though the sun is high the leaves and flowers are still juicy and tender. We will open to the juicy and tender available in ourselves at this time. Finding the softness that allows the light in and the fullness to be expressed with ease.  

We will journey with Ceremonial cacao from the rainforests of Peru- heart healer and bringer of joyfulness and the heart to allow the softening to ourselves.  

We will move into music and movement -connecting to the heart and spiralling out -embodying both the softness and fullness of this time.   Chakradance is movement practise - letting the body lead and surrendering to the music - eyes closed, there are no wrong moves. The active imagination is invited to engage different levels of our being using the archetypes associated with the Chakra system as a map -we let the fire dance, or the water, or the spirit. It can feel a bit like a waking dream, and gives space for the deeper parts of ourselves to be expressed - strengthening our wholeness, and giving access to energy and understanding not usually available to our waking mind. In this dance we will also be exploring how the energies of Solstice inform the experience of each centre.  

We will finish with a soundbath to integrate and find balance with the embodiment of the light, the fullness and the softness.  

There are no requirements or rules - move as much or a little as you feel to - this is space for you to be and be held.

Bring sheepskin/mat/ blankets and other cosy things for the sound bath, water and a journal if you'd like to.
