Mae hi eisioes yn byw ac yn gweithio yn Sir Gaerfyddin . Mae Gwaith Angharad wedi derbyn Gwobr Celfyddydwr Henry Moore yn 2025 a mae wedi bod yn aelod o Gymdeithas Frenhinol y Cerflunwyr ers rhai blynyddoedd. Dros gyfnod o 30 mlynedd mae Angharad wedi arddangos yn rheolaidd yn y DU ac yn rhyngwladol ac roedd hi'n prif ciwradyr ddigwyddiadau ar gyfer 'Cymru yn Ŵyl y Smithsonian' yn Washington DC, yn 2009. Ei arddangosfa unigol fwyaf hyd yn hyn yw IMPACT/Ardrawiad yng Nhanolfan Celf Aberystwyth yn 2023/24, lle dangoswyd ei dawn fel creawdwr, gweithgynhyrchydd a cerflunydd .Enillwyd y fedel aur mewn celf yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru 2024. Ac yn ddiweddar mae Angharad wedi gosod 2 o gerfluniau newydd ym Mhenygroes, Gwynedd, ar gyfer: Tirluniau Chwareli Llechi Treftadaeth y Byd UNESCO a cherflun parhaol ar gyfer tiriau Crefft Rhuthun.. Ar hyn o bryd mae hi'n cynhyrchu Cofeb Covid Abertawe, mewn cydweithrediad â'r artist gwydr pensaernïol, Catrin Jones ac eleni, prynwyd dau o'i cerfluniau ar gyfer Casgliad Cenedlaethol Amgueddfa Cymru, Caerdydd._________________________________________________________________________________________________The third guest speaker in a series of artist talks curated by the Students of Bangor Art Foundation course will be an the award winning sculptress Angharad Pearce Jones.Originally from Bala, in North Wales, Angharad Pearce Jones graduated from renowned 3D Design and Craft BA (Hons) at Brighton University in 1991 and completed an MA in Fine Art at Cardiff Art School in 1999. She now lives and works in Carmarthenshire and is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and recipient of a Henry Moore Artist Award 2025.Over a 30 year period she has exhibited regularly both in the UK and Internationally and was the principle curator for ‘Wales at The Smithsonian Festival’ in Washington DC, in 2009. Her largest solo show to date, at Aberystwyth Arts Centre in 2023/24 was called IMPACT/Ardrawiad and seamlessly combined her skills as a craftsperson, maker, sculptor and installation artist and at the 2024 National Eisteddfod of Wales, she was awarded the Gold Medal in Fine Art. Angharad has recently installed 2 new sculptures in Penygroes, North Wales, for Unesco: World Heritage Slate Mining Landscapes and a permanent sculpture for the grounds of Ruthin Craft Centre as part of CELF, National Contemporary Gallery for Wales.
