However, this is not essential, and those with suitable existing knowledge or experience are welcome to participate.What to expectExpect a friendly, practical and engaging learning experience, delivered entirely outdoors by Mark O’Connor, founder of Field Studies Ireland.Participants will spend much of the course preparing fires, cooking food, experimenting with techniques and sharing meals. The emphasis is on practical, achievable cooking experiences that can be adapted for different groups and outdoor environments.Certification is available to participants who have successfully completed ‘Intro: Nature Skills’ alongside this course.
